I’ve spent the last couple of months making a film using AI video-generation. I think I’ve succeeded in using a technology that is, at core, a glorified photocopier, in a genuinely creative way. At the very least, you’re not going to see this plot, with these visuals, set to this music anywhere else this century. Be warned: that doesn’t mean the film is actually good. What started off as a love letter to Grimdark sci-fantasy, Tim Burton, the art of H.R. Giger and Greco-Roman iconography (yes, I’m aware that’s an odd combination) rapidly evolved into an aromatic blend of cosmic horror, fat fetish material, and ska music. Enjoy it. Hate it. Fear it. Either way, I made it and now you — yes, YOU! — have to watch it!
